Amen, This is not as final as death.

My wife turns to me this morning and asks would I have the strength to still love God is she died today.  My heart said I better not say yes, but I hope God gives me the strength to make my yes be yes.  I ask her the same thing and she said yes.  Nothing is as final as death she says.  So we can make it through.  Whether it's a struggle with a brother, a father, with work, with life in general, with addiction, with poverty, with finding the strength to get through... just fill in the blank. 

Imagine, if someone brought you to court for a lawsuit of $5,000 that you had justly owed that person.  The judge is about to pass his sentence, and a complete strange comes in and says I will pay this debt.  All debts paid for... pretty simple.  God sent Himself down in flesh as a sin offering, to pay all of our debts.
